It would be nice if there would be a chance to load a single point with a special zoomfactor.(e.g. that could be the center point of the map) Now I`ve only the chance to load an area.

Look at #5324. In addition to add a point or a way I want to center and zoom a single point to show a real-time position in the center of JOSM map.

It would be nice if zooming at selected objects would be available.

as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
