Hotkey q makes a rectangle on screen which is no rectangle in map.
q should be aware of the metric.

Would be nice if it would work with all known projections not only WGS84.
A projection check is needed, anyway, and as long as the active projection is not supported the action should be disabled (greyed out).

Ticket #11754 also deals with this problem. Following comment of Klumbumbus,
Orthogonalise tool produces "rectangle on the screen" while BuildingsTools produces "rectangle on the ground"
I think we could orientate us on the the BuildingTools algorithm...

I'm pretty sure there is already another ticket for this projection issue.
