Description

Currently, sometimes when JOSM reports low on memory, it is too late to even save work. I request that the threshold for reporting low on memory be increased.

At least validator should run through that you are able to upload with default settings.

Is it still an issue? I never ran out of memory in the past 4 years of using JOSM.

I ran into situations where not enough memory was available for the "OutOfMemory" warning, leading to a complete stale of program. Sorry, I do not find the ticket comment.
I guess, this could happen saving layers, too.
