Please could 'note=' be added to the tags which make a node appear tagged? (orange glow)

Plus, I think it would be safer to have a warning box appear if you try to delete any node which is tagged, it's all too easy at the moment. The pop up box should vanish if you click else wear and/or when you hit enter/return so it's not an irritation though.

Another option would be to highlight the action on the Command stack, so it has a (e.g)red background, behind the command, if tagged nodes are deleted.
