Description

A disadvantage of JOSM is that the zoom levels are fixed in dependency of the scale. It is not possible to zoom on demand in the highest available zoom level, instead of that you get the information that no adequate zoom level is available. The visual detection of the building footprint is difficult even for high resolution satellite images with a spatial resolution of 1 m. In most cases it is only possible to digitize building blocks with the OSM Editors on that database.
