Add a tag, the way correctly turns blue

Select the way and one of its nodes, and split the way

One of the ways turns green, even though it has tags. This is incorrect, it should be blue because it has tags

Edit a tag in the 'green' way without changing its value. The way turns blue, even though no data has changed.
