Importing audio into the "Downloaded GPX Data" layer doesn't yield an error

When I import audio into the "Downloaded GPX Data" layer JOSM doesn't give an error and creates a new audio layer.

Instead it should tell me that I'm an idiot for trying to correlate audio with GPX data downloaded from the OSM server.
