First I had the same problem.

(A valid wiki-user is not able to upload maps - I also was confused about that)

and
​http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin&type=signup
seems to create independent accounts.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain andi.t.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
