generating a data layer from a gpx: wrong osm version

Description

when generating a osm from a gpx layer, and saving the file, josm can not parse the resulting osm file . The osm version is set to 0 in the file. when adjusted manually in the file w/ an editor to 0.5, the file parses ok. would be nice if josm could directly set the version ok to avoid this manual fixing of the osm file.
