I cannot resolve conflict with the new api. Error 400 appears when I try to upload.
I've a extensive area update (worked on that many many hours). But it's VERY frustrating that I cannot upload it due to this error... this is a real show stopper...

Conflict resolution has been improved recently, see #2507, #2510, but there are still some open issues.

  • what kind of error messages to you get?
  • what's the error text in the console? Does it say ... Gone, or ... Conflict or ... Precondition Violation?
  • what primitive makes problems? A node, a way, or a relation? What id?

The error 400 indicates that he is an anonymous user. He needs to change his openstreetmap settings or he can't upload data to 0.6 API.
