JOSM alerting updates from Taylor Smock and not allowing me to upload edits before update.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Try to download Map Roulette data using newest josm version

What is the expected result?

What happens instead?

2. Alert pops that I need to update MR plug in.
3. Select option to update
4. Unexpected error bug window pops up.
5. Preferences says that all of my plug ins are updated.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

I've added some code in v84 that will give me the download uri that is problematic.
