There's a bug if exporting a route with "Export GPX file starting from first member": Each time where an OSM-way of the route is connected to the next OSM-way of the route, their common Node is created (unnecessary) twice in the exported GPX-file. Please just add it once!

This is the Nr 1 issue in Italy for CAI / hiking / cycling mappers... might be other countries too. Just slap GPX trace in, convert it in on top of existing roads, tracks, path i.s.o, transferring the routes onto existing ways, which is like 90% of it... create a 1 member route never heard off again and we sitting there breaking it up and creating a proper route from the existing highway segments. And please, don't tell about where it crosses bridges, culverts, tunnels, fords. It itches to just delete. The last one was a 6km hike. 1 single way to include on top of other paths, and then to top it off, a second shorter hike by same mapper on some sections of the same path. OSM needs to red flag this right in the centre of the screen, no upload let through, but it probably cant.

Sorry, I've no idea what you mean. Is this somehow related to the already fixed problem reported in this ticket?
