Option to download data around images

Description

When user opens a geotagged images in JOSM they appear on "Geotagged Images" layer. Unfortunately there does not seem to be an easy way to download OSM data around these points - as is the case with a GPX layer.

This is a possible workaround:

  • rightclick layer name, select Export to GPX…
  • enter name, save
  • File - Open, open the previously saved GPX file
  • rightclick gpx layer, select Download from OSM along this track
  • click Download as new layer

I haven't found an alternative solution without having to create an intermediate GPX file.

No idea if this helps: I just use the "Download in current view" action after I centered the image. There is no default shortcut for this action, so it's a good idea to define one.

to The owner will be changed from team to the specified user.
Next status will be 'needinfo'. The owner will be changed from team to jose1711.
as duplicate The resolution will be set to duplicate. Next status will be 'closed'. The specified ticket will be cross-referenced with this ticket.
The owner will be changed from team to anonymous. Next status will be 'assigned'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
