HOT Tasking manager - after locking task for mapping load imagery into JOSM with offset set in project

I created ticket also on HOT Tasking manager side ​https://github.com/hotosm/tasking-manager/issues/6873

Some projects on HOT Tasking Manager are using imagery offset. Would it be possible to load imagery into JOSM with offset value that is gonna be set in the project?

current workflow:

• User lock task for mapping on HOT Tasking manager
• 3 layers got imported into JOSM:
  1. OSM data in the task area
  2. task border
  3. imagery - this can be also custom imagery in TMS form
• user manually set imagery offset according to the one written in project instructions

I am asking if it is possible that the offset would set automatically when imagery gets into JOSM.

If JOSM could accept the same offset parameter that the iD Editor uses, that might speed up the possibility of a mutual improvement to JOSM and the HOTOSM Tasking Manager.

There is an plugin for imagery offsets:​JOSM/Plugins/Imagery_Offset_Database, see also ​Imagery_Offset_Database.

HOT only needs to store the offsets in the database.
