How do you come to their conclusion?
If I deactivate some plug-ins, JOSM runs fine. But I'm not able to pinpoint the issue to a certain plug-in.
That's also the first time I've ever had that issue: I'm running JOSM for like 10 years on ArchLinux, just not in the last year.

Well, a crash in the JRE is normally not caused by the java program. You wrote that you have a new system, so maybe this is a hardware problem and and not a JRE problem, but see e.g. #23746 where another problem with this early version of java 22 is reported.

I meant to write that the system is freshly installed. The computer isabout 3 years old.
As I said, JOSM itself runs fine. It's just when I start loading more add-ons that it crashes repeatable when clicking on that button.
So what I'm supposed to do next?

I can't help with JRE problems. They may be fixed with updates for the JRE or a new driver or something else.

If you cannot find an update of the JRE try to contact the OpenJDK developers. Maybe install a different version like 21.
This is very likely a problem with the JRE, not JOSM.
