Description
Hi,
so i just downloaded JOSM. At first i had issues because of java blocking it due to security issues. After i whitelisted it no i am not able to run it. I have made some screenshots of the error that i uploaded here: https://imgur.com/a/rGHwzJ1
It runs on a M2 Macbook Air

Please use Java 11 or newer, it should run fine.

As WikiStart says this is a Java 11 application and wont any longer work with Java 8.
If you want to keep Java 8 use JOSM revision 18969 from the archive.

P.S. You also can use the MacOS installer which contains a matching Java.

Now i tried Java SE Development Kit 11.0.23 and JDK Development Kit 17.0.11 downloads. It still didnt work and i got the same error code

Nice, now it works :D I installed the mac version, i thought i did already in the first place, but yeah it works.

Oh, yeah. I figured out how to upload images here.
Btw. i just updated my java version and the JOSM version i used was the newest one downloaded today from the website
