Linux + 4k-Screen

On Linux with 4k-Screen JOSM does not scale anything to fit. This makes it very difficult for normal sighted people to read elements or edit the map and impossible for people with somewhat limited eyesight. Since 4k-Screens are no future tech and around for several years one can arugue that they are pretty common and are becoming the default. Especially for mappers a large screen can be very useful when it one wants to edit big areas but the elements don't need to be extremely tiny.

Please make JOSM fit for 4k and bigger monitors.

To ensure that all technical relevant information is contained, create new tickets by clicking in JOSMs Main Menu on Helpsource:trunk/resources/images/bug.svg Report Bug.

Remember: This is a generic notice so we don't need to write the same stuff again and again. It may only apply in parts to the specific case!

Please, use source:trunk/resources/images/bug.svg Report Bug from Help menu and copy & paste.

I thought I did. A fitting resolution.

Describe what did happen instead.

A not fitting resolution.

Add any relevant information like error messages or screenshots.

There obviously are no error message and I added a screenshot.

If you are not interested, just close the ticket and I wont bother you again. Sorry for trying.

The status report is the most important information we need. Without it answering is not possible really.

We would love to help you finding the settings to enjoy JOSM but there are far too many and without the status report it is just guessing. Please, add it as described above.

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain bitnapper.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment


E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
