JOSM freeze when I trying to modify a key

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. download OSM data in JOSM
2. select a node, way or polygon
3. click on the button "Edit"
4. JOSM automatically freeze. So it needs to kill the zulu platform x64 architecture and restart JOSM

What is the expected result?

Editing the selected key

What happens instead?

JOSM freezing

What is probably happening is the following:

1. The tag edit window is appearing (this blocks the rest of the JOSM UI, which is probably why you think it is "freezing")
2. The tag edit window is hidden somewhere (maybe it got moved somewhere you cannot see it?)

A possible workaround is as follows, if you cannot find the tag edit window:

1. JOSM Preferences
2. Display
3. Uncheck Remember dialog geometries

If that works, what you can then do to "reset" the tag edit window location is:

1. JOSM Preferences
2. Enable Expert Mode
3. Advanced Preferences
4. Search for geometry
5. Reset all the preferences found

It is working very well.

I use my computer on different set up (with different number of screen). This is why the edit window was outside my actual screen
