Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Have several connected ways waterway=* selected
  2. Create a new relation type=waterway and add all selected ways as members
  3. Sort relation's members

What is the expected result?

Members are sorted according to water flow direction

What happens instead?

Often the members are sorted against the water flow direction and I have to reverse the order

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

According to ​osmwiki:Relation:waterway a node with role spring should be the first member if present and members with empty role or main_stream should form a continuously line from start to end. Members with role side_stream are alternatives and should still be ordered.
