[PATCHes] DirectUpload crashes trying to upload converted GPX

Description

When I convert a GPX to Datalayer, back to GPX-layer and try to upload it with the DirectUpload plugin, the plugin crashes.

Happens with any gpx I have here (I'll attach one). It's enough to simply convert gpx-layer to data-layer to gpx-layer and try to upload the gpx.
I get nmea from the RGM3800 with the pythonscript (​http://code.google.com/p/rgm3800py/) and convert it with gpsbabel to gpx.

When not working:

a) Get a login and try again. You have then better points :-)
b) zip the file and attach it.
