deep zoom unusable due to masses of strange lines

Description

When I zoom ito lower then 150m (at the scale) JOSM displays a lot of unnerving horizontal lines, colored like the GPS-Traces although none are loaded. Seems to happen when I have loaded some more OSM-date as "usual" although other JOSM users could not reproduce that failure. ATM I work at this wood: ​http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/31258989/history and load it completely.

Thias happened in all the JOSM versions I used until now.

I am running a sidux with kernel 2.6.28-7.slh.1-sidux-686.

OpenJDK Server VM (build 14.0-b08, mixed mode)

Could you try Sun Java? I fear that again is a JDK bug.
