360 images are pixelated

the resolution of the pixels of the re-projected image depends on the size of the window where i am looking at the 360 image.
setting "geoimage.maximum-zoom-scale" to 20 lets me see the individual pixels (which are not interpolated btw.).
if i enlarge the popout-window of the image viewer these pixels appear to be smaller. this then lets me see more details when zooming in on a 360 image.

non-pixelated images

Closed as duplicate of #21432.
This is largely done due to memory constraints. In #21432, I got tiling working for traditional non-360 images. I haven't merged it yet since I haven't gotten around to getting it working with 360 images.
