Windows 11 - Those pesky rounded corners

Reported by: Kmpopppe Owned by: team
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Core Version: tested
Keywords: template_report Cc:

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Use JOSM launcher to launch the latest stable release after upgrading to Windows 11

What is the expected result?

Menu entries should be highlighted completely

What happens instead?

Menu entry highlight follows the OS-wide "rounded corners" behaviour and thus looks really strange.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Firefox (currently using 98.0) manages to have menu entry highlighting in square-form, so there ought to be a way to programmatically force this behaviour, even under Windows 11.

Resolution: othersoftware
Status: newclosed

That's either a Java or a Java Look&Feel issues, but nothing for JOSM.
