Description
Trac has a word filter, I was once blocked due to writing "ch eap" in one word. Does it support any additional measures apart from just blocking? If so, I'd recommend adding "http://" to the filter list and add some kind of captcha (i.e. "write 'JOSM' into the text box below"). Or any other kind that prevents spam are very welcome.

Spam is back, added into every trac page on tail. appended.

Not realy fixed. Please Block some special words like viagra etc.

There are much more SPAM filters used than plain word filters, but sometimes a spammer slips through the filter mechanisms. This cannot be avoided totally. It needs some time so the filters learn how to react to new spam variants. About 99% of spam is caught by the filters on first try. The others have to be removed manually as I did today (please don't revert them youself next time, as this means more work for me - I can DELETE the spam and not only replace it :-).

Actually the current SPAM problem seems to be a bug in spam filter. Somehow the texts this spammer enters don't find their way into the content scanner. For ally spammy entries the relevant scanner content is empty. Not so fine.

Hmm, I think I found and fixed a bug in the Trac plugin for spam fighting. Lets see if the problem is solved now. http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/8257
We move server anyway. I will have a look if we can handle that issue betteron the new server.
