Is it worth mentioning Mapbox imagery requests in basic tutorial?

https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Introduction seems to be targeting complete newbies, it seems to me that

Mapbox-only: you can ​request a better imagery for the region of your interest (​announcement in 2014-04-11 by Eric Gundersen)

is something that can be freely skipped there.

Is it OK to delete it as overcomplicating things and not being basic JOSM feature?

(also, maybe I am overthinking this and I should simply edit this page)

In case of AB problem: I am looking for some good JOSM introduction materials that can be shown to newbies that were mapping with just StreetComplete so far ( ​https://github.com/streetcomplete/StreetComplete/issues/3559#issuecomment-996111268 )
