Can you add some opacity slider for layers, especially for WMS

I can't find this... only a "fade" setting, which isn't what I was looking for.

I'd like to set one imagery (wms) layer to ~50% opacity so that it remains visible but the other layers will shine through, similar to ​http://sautter.com/map/.

Fifth icon in layer list: "Adjust opacity"...
