There is an inconsistency in displaying Edit "Search for Id" and "Search for Relations/Multipolygon" that should be examined

I had some difficulty discovering how to delete a Relation/Multipolygon & all associated polygons and observed this:

1) I recorded the Ids for the Relation & all associated polygons
2) I could find them using the appropriate Edit/Search
3) I deleted all of the associated polygons & the Relation/Multipolygon
4) I could not find the polygons by Id but Search Relation/Multipolygon worked!!!!!

(I don't recall issuing a Search by Id for the Relation/Multipolygon)

5) I did an Upload committing the changes
6) Both Searches worked as expected

Perhaps, all still associated polygons should be deleted when the Relation/Multipolygon is deleted?

There are quite a lot of options in the search dialog. Please, describe you exact search (screenshot) and attach a small demo file if possible.
