Description
JOSM's imagery index has 10 wms_endpoint
type entries:
https://josm.openstreetmap.de/search?q=%3Ctype%3Ewms_endpoint%3C%2Ftype%3E&noquickjump=1&wiki=on
When you select one of these from the menu, it shows you the SelectWmsLayersDialog
window with a tree of the available layers.
It would be more convenient if JOSM quietly loaded the available layers in the background, and showed them in a submenu tree, a bit like it currently does with the "Elevation map" or "Maps based on OSM data" categories.

I don't understand the request. Lets take wiki:/Maps/Luxembourg#geoportail.lualllayers as example. When you add it in JOSM you get a tree with all the layers in folders and subfolders as defined by the service.

Ah, good point. The dialog makes sense after all, then.
