Error on converting gpx to data layer

Description

Further to previous ticket - now when I can struggle to get josm to open and actually load a gpx file the next crash is when I try to convert the gpx to a data layer (see attached error log) - gpx track briefly appears in white (instead of default colour) and then josm crashes.
