Download Location no longer zooming to downloaded data

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Ctrl-L to bring up "Download Location" panel
  2. Enter a node or way URL (eg. http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/759756237)
  3. Make sure "Zoom to downloaded data" is checked
  4. Click "Download URL"

What is the expected result?

The view should move to the new data that was download and zoom to the appropriate level.

What happens instead?

Nothing. No indication is given that the data was actually loaded. No panning happens. No zooming happens.

I cannot reproduce. After step 4, the mapview changes to the downloaded way. Please test again (maybe with fresh preferences).

Confirmed a fresh preferences file does not exhibit the same symptoms. Should this bug be reopened and changed to indicate a "bad" preferences file can cause the unintended behavior? Is there even a setting that would prevent it from panning/zooming?

as closed The owner will remain b-jazz.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
