Description

Please add a way to configure JOSM to use the middle mouse button to pan like many, many other applications do. I frequently find myself using several tools more or less at once and it is incredibly frustrating that JOSM behaves differently, to the point that I am almost constantly using the wrong button when trying to pan.

I'm aware of #714 and why this won't be made default, but please give those of us with "normal" mouses the option to have consistent behavior!

The request comes up from time to time in different forms. The code in this area is already much too complex. Adding more options still is not sensible.

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
