Ok, now I still cannot reproduce your problem with your config. And also between 1178 and 118x there are no GPX related differences I'm aware of.
So please retry update and retry update of all plugins. All Plugin revsions must be >= 12588.

attached 2 screenshot, one with the older josm, one with the newer.
I updated all plugins.... there where again 2 new ones(ewms, ...) but I still can't see anything
any other ideas?

ewms?
Does this happen for all GPX files or only specific ones? Also for downloaded files? Please attach an example of your files.

I think I found the problem.
The new Plugin waypoints r12598 was the problem. I didn't know that I activated it.
What is the next step? closing this bug as invalid and opening a new bug for this plugin???
thanks for your time!!!

What do you mean with invisible?
What settings do you use, supply your config (string username/password before).
What did you do?
