Split Way: smart way selection for highway/railway/waterway

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. map missing bridge
2. select two nodes where road should be split, that are also nodes of a bridge (see attachment)
3. select split action

What is the expected result?

Road is selected for splitting (the other candidate - man_made=bridge is unlikely to be a target of splitting).

In case of explicit selection of both points and a way such guessing would be overriden.

What happens instead?

JOSM demands me to explicitly select a way for splitting.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Similar thing is often happening with tunnel=building_passage splitting. If this feature would be considered as potentially viable I can add more examples and usecases.

If only one highway/railway/waterway is applicable, use that one.
