Single Polish imagery source not working on Linux with HTTPS

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Download any area in Poland
2. Select "Geoportal2 Aerial WMTS
3. Java Read timed out error pops up

What is the expected result?

Imagery should work

What happens instead?

Java Read timed out error pops up

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Only happens on Linux. If you modify the imagery source link to HTTP, it works. Changing the JRE doesn't fix it.

Works fine. I've launched JOSM:

I've got popup for accepting unknown certificate. Once I accepted it, everything was working ok.

@rayleigh1 - did you get popup about certificate? Did you accept it? If you chose to reject it, this situation would be expected.
