Incremental loading of XML data from the server. Start displaying even when XML transfer is not finished.

Progressive downloading would be nice, especally if the server implements the ordering of the transfered data so, that major streets comes first. Together with the ability to cancel the download, this gives nice options to the user to just get an overview of the current area.

map24.de do it this way.

But it would be wonderfull for GPX downloads, being able to cancel a trackpoint download would be great.
