Yes, he's working for Mapillary to develop this JOSM plugin. At least currently I don't have the spare time to work on this plugin, so he'd be the one to talk to about issues with the plugin.

OK. @jpietri: I've set you maintainer of mapillary plugin on this bugtracker, and thus have assigned to you all corresponding tickets. As you can see there is a large number of unresolved issues, I hope to see this number decrease in the coming weeks :)
I would like also to let you know I am currently unsatisfied of the situation regarding Mapillary and MicrosoftStreetSide plugins. MS forked the Mapillary plugin to adjust it to their needs without asking us if it was the right thing to do (obviously no, as it makes the maintenance and translation more complex than it should be). In the long term I would like to see the street imagery becoming a core feature of JOSM, with unified support of Mapillary, StreetSide, OpenStreetCam, etc.

some additions for the date-thing:
it looks like that is not a problem in filter-function.
the problem is, that the timestamp of an image is only in the bbox where i have downloaded osm-data. the mapillary-images outside this bbox has not date nor traffic-sign-detection
Image: https://www.picflash.org/viewer.php?img=4dr9mls04wubln9.png
the downloaded bbox is where the mouse cursor is

I'm going to close this since the root problem (Mapillary images outside of download area haven't gotten more information) should be fixed by the v2.0 alpha version, where the vector tiles appear to have the necessary date information. I'll see if that still holds when the v4 API is actually released, but I don't anticipate it being that much different from the v3 tile api returns.

@floscher: is jpietri the new maintainer of mapillary plugin?
