Save state of georeferenced images gets lost

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Load pictures into a picture layer
2. Correlate these pictures with a GPX track
3. Save coordinates in pictures

What is the expected result?

Successfully saving the coordinates into the pictures should be reflected in an internal state.

This used to imply

a) the menu point "Save coordinates in pictures" being greyed out

b) JOSM not asking for unsaved changes for the layer "georeferenced images"

This state seems not to be set anymore in the current version.

What happens instead?

a) the menu point "Save coordinates in pictures" is still accessible

b) JOSM asks for unsaved changes for the layer "georeferenced images"
