autofill is suddenly giving me "hospital" instead of "house"

The "building" autofill has always given me "house" by just typing "h," but has now started showing me "hospital," even though I have never yet tagged a hospital, and as far as I know, there is no hospital near the area I'm tagging. I now have to type three characters instead of one, which doesn't sound like much of an effort until you figure that it's an extra 200 characters for tagging a hundred houses. Is there a way I can get it back to giving me "house"?

I just now noticed that "house" is no longer even on the dropdown list of options.

If you use the default preset it is normal that you have to type hou to get to house. For me h gives hangar, ho gives hospital and finally hou gives house. So far so normal. If you don't use the default presets you may want to reset the "active presets".
If you use the default maybe you have right clicked the entry in the popup and selected "Ignore key 'building'"?
Please check the preference properties.recent-tags.ignore and reset it to empty.
