The template traffic_sign:* has been changed. Since this creates false information, it should be removed in JOSM. See also forum https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=64167 and specification in WIKI about traffic_sign, direction, forward-backward.
The previous template was actually very useful. This one with direction leads to wrong entries.

Die Vorlage traffic_sign:* wurde geändert. Da diese falsche Angaben erzeugt, sollte sie in JOSM entfernt werden. Siehe auch Forum https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=64167 und Angabe im WIKI zu traffic_sign, direktion, forward-backward.
Die vorhergehende Vorlage war eigentlich sehr nützlich. Diese jetzige mit direktion führt zu Falscheinträge.

Obviously that change was already reverted in https://github.com/yopaseopor/traffic_signs_preset_JOSM/commit/ca6a1916136531a8c9c9d8b5f72169dd664f986c
Please manually update your preset file and try again. (see wiki:/Presets#UpdatingAvailablepresetsinJOSM)
