Description
JOSM version 14178 on Linux with openjdk-1.8.0.171.
Quite frequently keyboard input stops working.
Mouse works all the time, and JOSM is the only application with this issue.
Sometimes switching applications helps. Sometimes opening tag adding dialog helps. Sometimes opening tag editing dialog helps (after opening the adding dialog disn't help).
Sometimes the only method that seems to help is a JOSM restart.
This could be related to JOSM running in a slowish VM, but I also recently upgraded JOSM, and this problem did not appear before.
This is similar to an old bugreport #11209.

A note: Most of the time it helps to strip most URLs or when they are important split the submission into parts :-)
You had a score of -24, and already 53 negative points came from the links. Probably removing half of the links would have helped.

Maybe this rings a bell: I sometimes see this problem on my Win-10- Laptop. I think it happens when I accidentially press multiple keys, maybe in combination with actions on the mousepad. Sometimes JOSM ignores only keyboard, sometimes also all mouse actions after that.
I installed VisualVM to create a snapshot but since than it didn't happen again.
Status report please.
