News page at startup shows wrong version number and outdated news

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Run JOSM
  2. If needed cancel the Download dialog.

What is the expected result?

The News page shows number and news of the current JOSM version.

What happens instead?

The News page shows an outdated version number and news. For instance it currently shows version 13996 and its news while the actual version is 14026.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
