Direction arrows are not displayed

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected result?

What happens instead?

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

English please

Probably a duplicate of 16260. Submitter describes that arrows aren't displayed in the map. Another similar configuration works, but maybe due to caching has an older style?

@jumat@…:

Sorry, English is not a problem.

Correct, arrows on lines are not displayed although they are acitivated in the preferences of JOSM.
I'am using 2 Mac computers and on one computer, there is no problem with this issue. It works, arrows displayed. On the other computer same configuration and no arrows show. They are important when mapping streams, waterways and roads especially.

I have now deactivated the "new_basic_style" (in German called Neuer Grundstil), but there is no change. Arrows are not shown.
Only, if I deactivate all styles (I'am using also the standard JOSM Standard) and activate "Drahtdarstellung" (I do not know the English equivalent") then the arrows are displayed.

You're also using a very old version of Java, can you please update?

comment:5 by anonymous, 7 years ago

I've updated now the Java to latest version. But it does not matter to the arrow issue.

If it works on one computer and not another, please compare your two environments (including JOSM configuration) to spot the difference that triggers the problem. We cannot guess.

I have checked now every preferences in JOSM - I cannot find any difference, that rely to this issue.
Where (preferences) I can investigate this? Do you have any kind of idea?
