Hello
I have created a number of settings for my mapcss but I cant find a way to sort them in the list.
The list of settings when shown in JOSM is neither alphabetical or same order as listed in the mapcss file. Is there a setting in mapcss I dont know about or is it straight up weakness of JOSM?

Ok, im hoping im not making a fool out of myself here but as far as i can tell:
The setting name seems to have an influence on the ordering and stays alphabetical as long as the setting and label has only one character. So settings A-C end up in A-C order. If i reverse order of setting names, but keep label names, the label names end up in reverse order in the UI. If i start adding longer names to the style names the order becomes very chaotic.
To make test easier i made a simple test-style. Attaching now.
