Description
Hy everyone!
Since i have updated my mac to OSX High Sierra, i can run JOSM only with the java file downloaded!
When I try to install JOSM via the Mac OSX X package, I can´t open the file with the following error message: "The file is damaged!"
Could anyone please get josm working on macs again?
Best greetings, Thomas (OSM user "waldviertlerkartograph")

I know for sure JOSM works fine on macOS High Sierra.
First, please check you have updated High Sierra. The initial release suffered a major bug which hides the menu bar for Java applications. It has been fixed by Apple in the latest update.
Then, have you tried to download the package again? It is possible the download is indeed corrupted.
If it still not works, have you looked at wiki/Download? There is command that should fix this issue:
sudo spctl --master-disable
Let me know if it resolves your problem.
