"download along track" doesn't remember settings

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Load a GPX track
2. right click its entry in Layermanager > "Download OSM data along this way"

3a. change the values of the "metres" and "km2" entries, Download data.
3b. change the same values within F12/extended preferences, for example "downloadAlongTrack.area" and "downloadAlongTrack.distance"

4. In both cases the values are not saved for next time use, but the default 50 metres and 20 km2 are used.

What is the expected result?

save these values as default for next time use of this function

What happens instead?

doesn't save them
