Description

After a while of working, especially when large OSM files are in memory, all dialog boxes ("Change values?" and upload/download status) keep shading (rolling up, so that only the menu bar is visible) or maximizing. The former behavior effectively blocks work and will only disappear upon restarting and reloading the OSM file. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce a specific situation.

sounds like a Swing problem to me.

well, this really sounds like a problem with swing and out of memory.
