deleting a tag while a search filter is typed in the tag window gives an error

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. type a letter in the tag window to filter tags (e.g. "s")
2. delete one existing tag
3. error pops up

What is the expected result?

the selected tag will be deleted

What happens instead?

error pops up
