JOSM crashes after I download data

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Download OSM data
  2. Download Data points I'm using
  3. Will crash maximum 1 minute later after clicking around the data

What is the expected result? Not crash

What happens instead? It crashes

I also reset my profile completely by deleting everything

If it crashes you must have an exception somewhere, can you please post the stacktrace?

Other than that I don't get much as there is just a windows popup that says "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"

Seems it's not JOSM directly. Plays.tv(which is bundled with AMD drivers) thinks JOSM is a game and tries to capture input of the rendering. It fails and crashes JOSM....
