Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Start JOSM (I have Windows 10 64 bit, latest Radeon drivers)
- Move mouse over the screen (buttons, menu items)
What is the expected result?
Should work as usual
What happens instead?
The main frame (the map) appears to the left down of the mouse pointer when hovering over most buttons or menu items. See screenshots.
It is almost impossible for to use JOSM reasonably in its current state.
PC has been rebooted, to no avail.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

As said in the description, I had updated to the latest Java version before reporting the bug.
Java control center tells me that I have the most recent version and no other updates are available. Reported installed version is 8u101, not 8u60.

Well you're running 8u60 that's written in your status report. Please check again your configuration:
Identification: JOSM/1.5 (10786 de) Windows 10 64-Bit Java version: 1.8.0_60-b27, Oracle Corporation, Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

Java Control Center tells me I am running "Build 1.8.0_101_b13" and that there are no updates available.
I had updated my Java version today when I encountered the bug, and restarted the system but it didn't change anything.
When I now click on "help - Report Error" in JOSM, it would still insert "Java version: 1.8.0_60-b27, Oracle Corporation, Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM" in the report, but this is not true.
All ran fine until I updated to the latest JOSM version today.

Do you really think we hardcoded "1.8.0_60-b27"? If it appears in the status report, then it is the version used to run JOSM, there's nothing to argue here.
Obviously the update did not remove the old version, maybe there's a conflict between 32 and 64 bits versions, or between a JDK and a JRE, or another reason.

Your JVM is clearly 32bit, so the old JRE being picked up can probably be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Java
.
Can you please check, uninstall it if found, and try again with 8u101/102?

No, but neither do I think that Java would have version 60 hardcoded to be reported when 101 is running, do you? Checking the task manager the Java program that was running was in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_101\bin".
I have now uninstalled "Java 8 Update 101" using the control panel, it was the only installed version that I could find on my PC, also when checking the hard drive. I have then started to run JOSM, and it failed, reporting that no Java is installed. So apparently there was no other version than the just uninstalled 101 on my PC.
I have then reinstalled version 101 again, and now it seems to work. Whatever the reason was, it seems that something got scrambled in either JOSM or Java.
If I am the only one to experience this issue, ticket can be closed. Thanks all for your support!

This kind of problems does not come from JOSM but the software stack, please update your java version as it is obsolete (8u60 instead of 8u102) and tell us if it fixes the problem.
