Description

iD automatically includes imagery_used and locale tags to all changesets:

Compare with JOSM:

​https://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/changeset/41368324

The automatic tags can't be forgotten, can't be vague, and are machine-readable.

JOSM includes the locale in the created_by tag, but using a tag only for the locale, and using the same tags as iD, would make things easier to parse.
